100 Years of change for children
Wednesday 5 June 2019
Thanks to supporters like you, we’ve been doing whatever it takes for children in need for 100 years, reaching over one billion children!
It all began in 1919, when our founder, Eglantyne Jebb, launched a pioneering campaign to save suffering children across war- torn Europe. A cause that soon became the first global movement for children. Her fearless spirit and bold vision continue to drive our work today.
You can watch what we’ve accomplished, together, for children over the last 100 years – from our post-World War I beginnings, through America’s Great Depression, to today in South Africa – here.
